Job Description

I. Responsibilities:

– Designing the medium voltage power supply system from the connection point of the electricity company’s grid to the substation of the building;

– Designing installation of substations (including calculation and selection of transformer capacity);

– Designing installation of backup generators (including calculation and selection of capacity), ATS system;

– Designing low voltage electrical system of the building including designing the dynamic power supply for the pumping station, for air conditioning and ventilation system, for the elevator, design of lighting, socket, grounding, lightning protection;

– Disassembling materials and equipment for cost estimation;

– Presenting against investors, consulting and supervising technical solutions and equipment proposed by the unit;

– Supporting bidding work;

– Leading the Electric team to follow the project progress

– Taking main responsibility for the implementation of the dossiers of design and construction drawings (including descriptions and drawings);

– Other tasks assigned by superiors related to majors.

 

II. Requirements:

– Bachelor’s Degree in electricity, electrical system, automation, and electrical equipment from the University of Technology, Transport, Electricity or other universities with the same major;

– Experience in leading and managing teams;

– Priority is given to candidates who have a practicing certificate of electromechanical design of works or technical infrastructure;

– At least 02 years of experience in the field of design or construction of the M&E system of the project and the project’s technical infrastructure, with priority given to high-rise buildings and commercial center projects, resort projects;

– Experienced in working with equipment and material suppliers to collect information, update equipment and new technologies for design

– Understanding of transformers, generators, medium voltage cabinets, general electrical cabinets, floor cabinets, medium voltage cables, low voltage cables, switchgear, distribution, protection, cable tray ladders, lighting…);

– Experience in designing and installing common types of substations (kiosk stations, hanging stations, base stations);

– Understanding and applying electrical design standards of Vietnam and IEC in the electrical design of buildings;

– Knowledge and proficiency using software: AutoCAD, office (M.Word, M.Excel, M.Powerpoint)… and software that supports design calculations;

– Basic knowledge of principles and order of work management, management of records, principles of design drawings’ presentations, explanations (including technical specifications), making design estimates;

– Knowledge of types of materials, specifications of materials used in actual construction.

IV. Working Time – Workplace

1. Time

– Working hours: 8.30 am – 6 pm Monday to Friday and 2 Saturdays/ month

– Siesta: from 12 pm to 1.30 pm
